Autism Awareness Month

Although it may be half over, April is Autism Awareness Month so take a little time to learn about this developmental disability. The
Autism Society of America
has some great resources. According to their website, it is estimated that 1.5 million Americans are living with some form of autism. It is a spectrum disorder, which means that the severity of symptoms can range from very mild to extremely debilitating. No matter where an individual falls along the spectrum however, there are treatment options and educational avenues that can and should be explored. For more information about autism check out the
