World Health Day
> 4/7/2006 9:06:32 AM

For those of us living in the United States, our own healtcare system can often seem a chaotic mess. Especially in the blogsphere, we tend to criticize and hurl vitriol about the state of things. And in large part, this is rightfully so as there is much that can and needs to change.

But in our rush to judge our own situation, sometimes we may overlook all that is working and is going right. By and large, those who need care get it. And innovation continues to make the US a leader in the realm of cutting edge medicine. Much of the rest of the world cannot make those claims. Today is World Health Day, a day to remember the global struggle for better healthcare.

Take a look at the website to find out how you can get involved in healthcare initiatives, and support the fight to bring better treatment to those around the world who need it.

Hat tip, Dr. Deb!
