A visual stress clinic at Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland is helping children with dyslexia through a novel approach. A child with a type of dylexia known as Meares-Irlen Syndrome, which means certain fonts results in visual distortions, in combination with dyspraxia that causes coordination problems, results in headaches and nausea when trying to read was prescribed special tinted blue glasses, blue paper and special blue computer screens to study. The blue-tinted glasses and blue paper which helps train eyes to focus and follow text, allowing the child to study and florish in school.
