Medgadget has announced the results of the 2006 Medical Blog Awards, and Anxiety, Addiction and Depression Treatments is the winner in the category of Best Clinical Sciences Weblog! By way of indulgent acceptance speeches, we just want to say thank you to all those who voted for us. We want to give an even bigger thank you to all our readers, because that's who we're here for everyday. We're looking forward to an even better 2007!

We also want to congratulate the other winners, and especially two friends of AADT, NHS Blog Doctor and Flea, for winning Best Medical Blog and Best New Medical Blog respectively.

While much has been written on this topic, your articles typically express both the positive and negative aspects of these important issues, without taking an emotional stance on either side of the spectrum.
